This painting was created from photos and memories of a beautiful sunset seen while heading directly west toward Sydney, Australia, from New Zealand on the Tasman Sea. While most people were standing at the railing on the bow of the ship, one couple decided to have the ‘best seat’ for viewing the sunset from a place on the next deck up and back a bit from the crowd below.

A painting of two types of windmills—the very old and the very new. The old is a popular type of windmill often used to pump water on many farms across the country. The new type of windmill is now also often seen on farms—generating electricity instead of water. .
The origins of this painting go back to when I was a small boy playing and climbing on the older type of windmill. The AeroMotor Company, Chicago, Ill., apparently was a manufacturer of a lot of this type of windmill - still some seen on farms today.
An evening sun highlighting two different types of birds - a pair of doves and a pair of Bird-of-Paridise flowers. The painting was created from photos taken of the doves, plum tree and fence in our back yard - a scene that happens almost every evening. The flowers were cut from the plants in the front yard and placed in the sun behind the doves and fence.

This painting is of a special, adventurous and well-loved dog named Sophie.
It was created from photos provided by her owner, Roy Dicterich, and provides a lasting image of his 'special companion' who is a large part of his life at this time.
A view of a caribou that had been grazing in the marshes directly behind the Artic Caribou Inn, Dead Horse, Alaska – which is located at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This particular caribou, which obviously missed the main migration south, finished grazing, slowly walked by, took a look at me and then ambled off. The velvet he was shedding revealed some broken antlers – like he had a long, rough summer- but otherwise seemed to be in good health.

This painting was created as a tribute to my grand-daughter, Kianna Mariah Aguilar Green, who celebrated her 15th Birthday May 27th, 2006. This image is a composite of photos and feelings experienced at the church ceremony of her Quinceanera in St. Claire Church, Santa Clara, Ca.
As with other paintings I've done,
this one was also created from memories, photos and a bit
of imagination to provide a lasting image of a 'special moment or place' in
someone's life.
This personalized painting is a tribute to Lillian Robles, whose faith has provided her with the strength and courage required in the raising of her two sons who are now in college. Her initials are on the base of the larger candle while her sons’ initials are on the two smaller candles.

This painting was created for Dean
Smith (my brother) and represents his memories of 'hoops' at home in the late
'60s in Eastern Pennsylvania.
As with other paintings I've done,
this one was also created from memories, old black and white photos and a bit
of imagination to provide a lasting image of a 'special moment or place' in
someone's life.
This painting was created from the concept and vision of Matthew Bradley as a tribute to an everlasting love between Dawn Moffitt and her Mother, Genevieve McMullen, who had recently passed on.
By using animals to show a love in their life, an Elephant (Mrs. McMullen) and a Butterfly (Ms. Moffitt), represents the deep eternal love that exists between Mother and Daughter.
With the Elephant holding the Butterfly on the tip of its trunk, pointing up towards the sky, symbolizing the heavens watching over the earth through our daily journey of life.

This painting of this one-room school house - last
named Hoffer's School - was created from memory, a bit of imagination and photos
provided by Robert Smith, who attended this school. The school, which stood in
North Londonderry Township in Eastern Pennsylvania, no longer physically exists,
but does survive on in the memories of many of those who attended.
Created from photos taken of the Merced River as it flows through Yosemite Valley - with Half Dome in the background. The person in a 'reflective' position on the bank of the river depicts the usual reaction of those who view and appreciate the peace and beauty experienced in this beautiful National Park.
