This painting, was based on some childhood memories of some ‘row houses’ on Abbie Street, Shreveport, Louisiana, as they looked like in the forties and fifties. These were also called ’Shotgun Houses’ by many because the design of the houses had all of the doors lined up so that, if all doors were open, one could fire a gun through the doors and not hit anything.
Size: 12" x 16" - Oils on Board - Created 2015
The original is not for sale. However, the image can be purchased as as limited edition giclees (original painting size) signed/serialized with certification. Please contact me for pricing and availability of other sizes and media.
