One can easily understand why they refer to it as their ‘Happy Place’. Included in the painting are some of the island’s birds - a pair of willets, a semipalmated plover, a grey plover, several sandpipers and of course, some sea gulls. Stone Harbor is a small town located on a seven mile long island with the Intercoastal Waterway to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.
