A painting of two types of windmills—the very old and the very new. The old is a popular type of windmill often used to pump water on many farms across the country. The new type of windmill is now also often seen on farms—generating electricity instead of water. The origins of this painting go back to when I was a small boy playing and climbing on the older type of windmill. The AeroMotor Company of Chicago, Illinois, apparently was a manufacturer of a lot of this type of windmill - still some seen on farms today.
Size: 16" x 20" - Oils on Board
The original is unavailable, but the image can be purchased as limited edition giclees (the original painting size), signed/serialized gallery wrapped canvas or Paper Prints with certifications. Please contact me for pricing and availability of other sizes and media.
