A view of a large Llama along the Inca Trail near Dead Woman’s Pass at about 13,580 ft. elevation. This was on a 2024, 26-mile-long Trek from Cusco to Machu Picchu in Peru. There were several other Llamas in the same area of the trail, but this one was the only one busy eating leaves from the small trees and bushes. This particular view seemed to have the Llama backlit as the light was surrounding him as he stretched up to eat the leaves. Both Doris, my traveling companion, and I took the same photo because the effect of the light around this white Llama really made him stand out from the other llamas who were just lounging about being relaxed and lazy.
Size 14" x 18" - Oils on Panel.
The original is available or it can be purchased as limited edition giclees (original size) signed/serialized with certification. Please contact me for pricing and availability of other sizes and media.
